I thought I should put something here besides “This is an example of a WordPress page”.
I grew up in the sixties but probably should have slowed that down a little bit. What can I say? I wore my hair long and straight, loved bell bottom jeans and was proud to wear my brothers army jackets while criticizing the Vietnam War!
That ended abruptly when I was just out of high school and got married in 1971. That’s what you did then if you were female especially if you were from a small town and had never been to the big city. College was for the kids on the other side of the tracks! I wanted to be a nurse even then but it wasn’t in the cards at the time. Was I naive? You betcha!
Three boys and a divorce later and I’m working as many hours as I can find to keep them fed. Friend of the Court wasn’t quite so helpful back then.
Along comes my second husband who I fell madly in love with. He played a part of my life for a long time. I had another son by him and that makes four.
I had tried to go back to school as they were growing up a few times. Sometimes feeding them got in the way…
It was a choice and ya know they have to eat!
Some twenty years later I finally made it. I had my nursing degree. (Didn’t have the husband because he died the same year. Long story and I won’t go into it here.)
I went to work in the ER shortly after and that was an education in itself. For a small town, naive girl it was quite a shock to the system. Let’s just say that I expected more out of the kids when I realized common sense didn’t just grow on trees!
The teenage years were another education. Somehow I think my Mom must have been chuckling while I was pulling my hair out. That kind of ended abruptly too when they all moved out and left me with an empty nest.
I looked around and thought, “What the hell!” LOL
Tune in later for the rest of the story…

By law, they notify you however, I have heard of people that had moved who hadn’t been informed.
Did you try the links I have posted? Another idea is to call the treasurer for the county.
Good luck.

Do you happen to know if a mobile home that is not permanently attached to the foundation (no tie downs or piers) with a title; is considered personal property & taxed at 6% sales tax (like a vehicle) when it’s purchased?? It’s not in a mobile home park, it’s on a small acreage parcel.
Thank You for any help you may have.
